Open Arms, Open Heart

Patiently I waited. Some days were harder than others, but I kept doing just that. I waited for a sign of trust. A sign of need. Some may say it was stubbornness. I don't think so. I call it faith. The day arrived that you came to me. To your surprise, my arms were open.

a warmth in my chest
but heaviness was in yours

doubt starting to fade
you feel my arms encase you
a true test now overcome
