A House Guest

spider web

A House Guest

A fly whizzes through the air, its wings whirling in continuous circles as it races through the rooms of a house. It lands on a white wooden desk, and twirls its two front legs before licking them. Red luminous eyes stare around the room before focusing on a ceiling light. The ceiling light flickers, and the fly darts off, straight for the light bulb. Suddenly, it smacks into an invisible barrier around the ceiling light. Silky strands hold it tight in an iron grip, and the fly squirms and sputters like an old propeller plane as it strains to break free of its bonds.
