Are You A Busy Bee?

Imagine you are a bumblebee. A worker bee. You buzz around the hive, always trying to please the Queen Bee. Life for you is an endless load of tasks: collect the pollen, guard the hive, make honey. It never seems to end. Your entire life is one big rush hour.

The way to break this cycle is to first recognize it. You must acknowledge your hectic life, and look for ways to reduce it. Activity is good, but too much of it can be a burden to you. It is like having a heavy chain wrapped around you. Its sheer weight presses down on you, crushing your spirit. The chain is the master, and you are its slave.

But it does not have to be this way. Look around in your life for activities that use up large amounts of your time, but are no benefit to you. Eliminate them and give yourself the gift of peace. Relish it. Make it your own, and see what magic comes from a calm, steady life.

Do not be like the other bees in the hive that buzz continuously like mind-numb drones. Look to yourself and your needs. Break free from the Queen Bee and face life on your terms. No more rush hours. Live your life happy and free.
